Technique! Who knew there was so much technique involved in picking weight up off the ground with a big thick rotating handle! There’s not as much technique involved as raw strength but over the past few weeks I have been adjusting mine and I’ve started to notice some real improvements in my lifting not only with the rolling thunder but other implements too. The first big change is my stance, I’ve taken up a much wider starting position than I would usually and tried to shift the weight more onto the side I am lifting from, It seems to have given a better angle for me to pull from providing a bit more leverage. A prime example of this is in a video here I pull 60kg for 20 reps! It seems to be working for now but i’m sure there will be some more changes in the future that can hopefully benefit me more!
