We have assigned a star rating system to our steel to define its strength required to bend.

1 - 2 Star Difficulty

Perfect place for beginners to start. Usually around 3-5mm steel, these are great for learning how to bend and will still provide quite a tough challenge to snap.

2.5 - 3.5 Star Difficulty

A noticeable step up from the 2 star difficulty, especially on the initial bend. This level is where most people will find the best results for training, practice makes perfect.

4 - 5 Star Difficulty

This is where the initial bend can start to get very  tough for most people. If you’re technique isn’t up to scratch. You’re going to struggle to bend these.

5.5 - 6.5 Star Difficulty

This where things start to get really tough. The initial bend on an these pieces of steel is not for the faint hearted. Snapping one of these is a great accomplishment.

7+ Star Difficulty

Home to the elite steel benders. This level of strength requires a lot of practice and dedication. It's good to get hold of one of these and feel just how tough it is. Practice practice practice...
